Help Us Work Strategically With Churches

We are so grateful for the privilege of sharing with you on a weekly basis the Good News of Christ and the hope of this Christmas season. This past year has been so exciting for our ministry as we finalize plans to work strategically with churches across America to reach more men than ever before.

Do you realize that more than 90% of American men believe in God, five out of six call themselves Christians, but only 2 out of 6 attend church? There is a serious gender gap in America’s pews.

And the spiritual health of a man will dictate the vitality of his family and his participation in church. Consider that for every 10 men in the average church:

• 4 will get divorced
• 5 will have a major problem with pornography
• 9 will have kids who leave the church
• And all 10 will struggle to balance family and work

That’s why Outdoor Connection Ministries is in the business of helping churches see that men’s ministry is MISSION-CRITICAL to its growth and impact in the community. We want to help churches attract men and motivate them to grow spiritually, get involved in the life of their church, strengthen their families, and move from a life of success to significance. And we are preparing to help more churches than ever before with our 25 years of experience through consulting services, training, retreats, and resources. But to do this we need your help!

We invite you to view our latest ministry brochure, outlining how we help churches identify where they are in the men’s ministry development process using our “Four Pillars of Success.” We plan to share with them our best practices in the areas of strategic planning, organization, and development of programs that grow men spiritually. We want to help pastors reduce or eliminate the common failures that occur when trying to introduce men to issues of faith in Christ and then involving them in the life of the church.

Unfortunately, most of America’s churches are too small to afford our services. So the bottom line is that without your prayerful financial support we simply cannot do it! It costs $166 a month –that’s $2000 a year – to fully supply a struggling church with all the resources and consulting needed to develop a thriving ministry to men. And with your help we’ll continue to develop more tools and methods for equipping pastors and men’s ministry leaders to reach men in their communities.

This year because of the generosity and excitement of a few individuals about our plans, we are able to match whatever funds you can provide.
